Hearts Of The West November Blog Hop

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West was founded by Nancy Klein.
This month's challenge is Yuletide Carol paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked by Nancy Klein.

If you came from  Julie Kerr then you're in the right place. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I used the Yuletide Carol paper pack X7187B, Cricut Artfully Sent Cartridge Z3017, Black/Grey Glitter Paper Pack Z1829, Mini Medley Accents Ruby Z1861 & Black Z1862.
Both the black and silver were cut using the cartridge. I used ruby scraps behind the Christmas Blessing.  I used pieces of the zip strips and scraps for the card. I used Stardust Stickles around the star. I used a home made mist and sprayed the front of the card (I have had the mist mixed for a while and cannot remember the ink I used). I used pieces of the ruby and black mini medleys.

Your next stop is Corinna Murphy .
Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what crafty projects we can bring to you! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.

Cut Above Treat Bag Kits

Hello Everyone,
I have made some cute bags with treats. I used the Halloween Z2058 and Holiday Z2057 Kits.
They are easy to do and very cute when finished.
There are 10 bags in each kit.
I used the mini stapler to staple the bags closed and it worked great.
I used Glacier and Topiary ink for the Holiday. Thistle and Slate ink for the Halloween.
The stamp set is Sweet Salutations B1466. Oh you also need a block. I used a 2 x 2.

Something to remember is not to buy candy wrapped in waxy type paper.  You have to use glue to make the stickers stick.  It took longer to make the Halloween bags because of it.
The candy for the Holiday bags are wrapped in a cellophane wrapper so the stickers stuck and were done in no time.

You do not need a lot of time to make them. It took more time to decide what candy I wanted to use.

I have some other stuff on the go. I have most of the cutting done for a number of Work Shops on the Go.  Some from the new Annual Inspirations and some from the previous Idea Book. Can't wait to finish the cutting of the Cricut shapes for the last three scrapbook kits.  They will be done. LOL

Have a great day tomorrow and happy scrapbooking!

Cut Above Thank You Card Kit and Happy Birthday Card Kit

Cut above Kits are easy and pretty.  You need the kit, an ink and a stamp set.

For the Thank You Card Kit I used the You Mean The World To Me B1467 stamp set and White Daisy pigment ink.

Stamped and let dry

Glued the precut pieces.

Added the pop ups that come in the kit.

Tied the bow and attached the pieces.
Voila!
Easy and finished in no time.

This is the finished product of the Cut Above Birthday. I used the same stamp set and Pacifica Ink.
Also very easy. I enjoyed making them.
For people who do not want to spend a lot of time making cards but want a homemade card to send these are for you. Beautiful, fun and you still made them!
